Stockholm Teamgym Open – Where TeamGym Comes Alive

Every year, the energy rises in Stockholm as athletes, coaches, and fans gather at Enskedehallen in Stockholm for one of the most exciting events in TeamGym – STG Open. 

As Sweden’s largest international TeamGym competition, STG Open brings together hundreds of talented gymnasts, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of passion, performance, and community.

What truly sets STG Open apart is its inclusive and forward-thinking approach to competition. The highest class is based on the international Code of Points, but thoughtfully adapted to open the door for more teams to participate and perform at a high level. T

eams can include up to 20 gymnasts per rotation, with the final six athletes contributing to the D- and C-scores. This unique format allows for broader participation while still maintaining competitive excellence.

To further support athlete safety and longevity, landings are performed on a semi-soft surface – a landing mat placed on top of an MD pit – reducing impact and making it possible to compete on newer and less rigid setups.
